Anemo will exhibit at Aircrafts Interiors in Hamburg

we have following reasons to be at this show

1)   New environmental friendly fasteners

Anemo Engineering would like to help the environment by motivating people to transition from toxic yellow plated cadmium quarter turn fasteners towards ROHS clear zinc plated fasteners.  ‘Many engineers still do what they are used to do’, says Bart Vandezande, managing director of Anemo.

Engineers believe the old plating is still the standard within the industry whereas there exists a zinc plating that performs better in corrosion tests.  ‘We recently convinced AIRBUS to use them with a new project that is now in testing.’  Another advantage for the customer is the lower pricing and quicker availability.

2)   New tamper proof fastener

When passengers are frustrated, they might damage the interior of an aeroplane causing potential hazardous situations.  Therefore we came up with the design of a tamper proof quarter turn.

It’s nickel plated, to give it a nice appearance, lightweight and allows quick access behind panels.

 Passengers can not unrelease the fastener and damage the seats!

3)   New product

Anemo features the Vlier pin at the show.  This product line is now available in Europe through Anemo Engineering.  Lock pins provide easy opening and closing by the push of a thumb.
