Stainless Steel Swift-Sure gas spring is an entirely self-contained, maintenance free, hydro pneumatic ram which is charged under pressure with an inert gas.

It has the characteristics of a compression spring which, coupled with a small change in force as it extends, provides a controlled rate of movement.
At the end of the extension stroke, oil damping occurs due to a hydraulically cushioned zone.
With a specially prepared rod surface finish for additional hardness and protection against high levels of corrosion, Stainless steel Swift & Sure gas springs are ideally suited for use in harsh environment applications such as marine engine covers, doors and application environments requiring high levels of cleanliness like the food, pharmaceutical and medical industries.

6-15 The light duty gas spring forces range from 50N to 400N. The stroke length ranges form 40mm to 200mm. The tube length ranges from 75mm to 230mm. The shortest possible spring in this series is 115mm long, the longest one is 430mm long.(excluding end connectors)

8-18 The medium duty gas spring forces range from 100N to 650N. The stroke length ranges form 40mm to 300mm. The tube length ranges from 85mm to 345mm. The shortest possible spring in this series is 125mm long, the longest one is 645mm long.(excluding end connectors)

10-23 The heavy duty gas spring forces range from 150N to 1200N. The stroke length ranges form 40mm to 400mm. The tube length ranges from 85mm to 445mm. The shortest possible spring in this series is 125mm long, the longest one is 845mm long.(excluding end connectors)
