The proces for installing Keenserts is as followed
  1. Drill with a standard drill, dimension of the drill are in the catalog
  2. Countersink with a standard countersink drill with a top between 82°to 100°.  We have a range of countersink drills available.
  3. Tap with a standard Unified Thread Series tap.  (Contact us for a quote on the required tap)

For each type of Keensert there is a table with installation dimensions and tool specifications.  These can be consulted through the following link: https://anemo.eu/keenserts/tools

1° you screw in the keensert with help of the slots or you use the notches (depends on which tool you have)

2° you twist the tool 180° and push the sliding outer sleeve over the keensert kees  (to prevent them coming out)

3° you hit the tool with a hammer

There is also pneumatic tooling if you require to install more then 2500 keenserts (estimated cost is 8000 euro for the tool).

Don't just merely look at the cost of this tooling, this tool will save time when installing them (less workers) you will also have less broken hands due to installation tooling and you have  consistancy!

Make sure to do a proper countersunk, so that the keensert is not installed to deep.
