Rivets - How to select a Rivet
1) Determine the strength needed for your application
Aluminium rivets are weaker then steel rivets
Rivets are composed out of two parts: BODY + NAIL
First you specify the material of the body then the material of the nail. BODY - NAIL
2) Verify the profile of the rivet within the application

3) Select available combinations:
Do you want them painted - Please specify RAL color?

4) Pick the right size
Forward total thickness in mm of the two plates you want to connect
5) Determine if you have the appropriate tooling
Choose between:
Hand tooling
weight = 0.8 kg
up to Ø4.8mm hole size
Air operated
weight = 1.7 kg
TOOL 1 = 2.4 until 5.0
TOOL 2 = 4.0 5.0 6.4
