Are our goods DRC conflict free

In order for Anemo Engineering to comply with recent legal developments in the U.S., we require from our suppliers to pro actively assist and support us. The new legal requirement is found in Section 1502 of the “Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act” which identifies certain “Conflict Minerals” as financing armed conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its surrounding countries.  To comply with these new legal requirements, we must obtain accurate information from you and our other suppliers about whether raw materials, components or other parts (“Goods”) in our products contain these Conflict Minerals (currently limited to tungsten, tin, tantalum, gold and their derivatives).  If any Conflict Minerals are present in your products, we must trace them to their source to determine whether or not they are “DRC conflict free” and report our findings. To determine the DRC conflict status of the Goods that you provide to us , we need you to respond to this with accurate and complete information. In addition, if you provide Goods to us that include finished components or parts procured from sub-tier suppliers, you must request similar information regarding the presence and source of Conflict Minerals from those suppliers. Our customers are requested to contact us regarding this matter and request a signed declaration that the products they purchase are DRC conflict free.
