How can you install the stud nuts 2383SG?

There are 3 different ways to install the stud nut 2383SG**-XXBP

The first way is by using the retaining ring 2383RN01-1BP or 2383RN02-1BP:

Which only requires the retaining ring and the installation tool 2383T01-1BP to install the retaining ring onto the stud nut

The second way is by using the grommet 2383GF14-**BP:

This requires 2 tools: the 2383HT01-1AY or the 2383HT01-2AY which is to "swage" the grommet onto the panel AND the installation tool 2383T01-1BP to install the grommet onto the stud nut

The third way is by using the grommet 2383GF15-**BP:

You'll need the following tools to install the 2383GF15-**BP: the 2383HT02-1AY which is to "swage" the grommet onto the panel AND the installation tool 2383T01-1BP to install the grommet onto the stud nut

Difference between the second and third way, is that the swaging angle of the second way is either 60 or 90 degrees, while the third way has a swaging angle of 180 degrees, which is why you'll need a 3rd type of swaging tool.

And you'll also need a protection ring so the grommet doesn't damage the upper panel while the swaging takes place: the protection ring 2383W02-1BP

You can review the following page to know more about how to prepare the panels before swaging:
