The load is 5kg which is mounted on a linear actuator that accelerates very quickly (a motor delivering 4G) can QCTH clamps be a solution?
So real lateral load would be 5x 4 x 10 = 200 Newton
recomendation from the factory:
The shear strength of QCTH is 1800N / 3200N and the clamp does not remove because the pin contacts the inside of receptacle.
So I think it will work fine in his application.
I do not recommend QCPC because the clamping force and shear strength are lower than QCPC.
procter and gamble who is the customer will test out:
Part N° | Description |
QCTH0525-10S | stud metal knob |
QCTH0525-10 | stud plastic knob |
QCTH0525-B | receptacle |
QCTH0525-B-SUS | stainless receptacle |
original request:
mounting a ~5kg load to a linear actuator that accelerates very quickly (assume a peak force of , suing your quick connectors and locating pins.
According to the shear / axial loads that the connectors can withstand, I could use the QCPC series together with the QCTH cam receptacles.
