What hold down bar types are available for the Steelsmith hold down clamps?

There are different types of S-Clamps clamps that can offer you a hold down action.
Most of these clamps, exist with several hold down bar options.
The option that is installed on the clamp, is illustrated in the product code.
The letters at the back of the product code tells you which version of the clamp you have.

There are 3 different hold down bar options for clamps
However not all options are available for all clamps!
As to illustrate the differences, pictures of the VTC-4595 clamp are added, showing the different bar options.

UB
This is the most comon hold down bar option.
The bar is a U-shaped arm.
This allows one or more spindles to be moved along the length of the bar into the desired position.

SB
This hold down bar option is a solid bar arm.
This allows you to weld the bolt retainer, for housing the spindle, into the desired position.
You can even weld the retainer into an angle onto the bar.

VTC-4595-SB - VTC-4595 clamp with solid bar for welding the bolt retainer

SF
This hold down bar option is also a solid arm, but has a fixed guide bush at the end to mount the spindle.
This type of bar only offers 1 spindle position, so be carefull as where to install clamps with this kind of bar option.
