What is operational temperature range of the clamps?

Manual clamps are intended to be used at normal ambient temperatures.  For low-carbon steel clamps: -54°C to 250°C; for stainless steel (type 304): up to 400°C. These values are based upon maintaining the tensile strength of the material, due to the many variables associated with operating clamps at elevated temperatures service life may be affected. These temperatures are NOT inclusive of any plastic grip, vinyl dipping, Nylock nuts or rubber spindle accessory.
