Is there a replacement for the KM Series?

Yes, there is a replacement for the old stainless steel parts of the KM or VKM series. The replacement has the part number of LOPPTC series, or the Light duty One piece Push Turn Close series.

VKM SERIES

VKM series are simple, low-cost and quick operating quarter turns They are designed for hand installation and operation. VKM series absorb shock and vibration.

You can find medium and heavy duty quarter turns for the VKM series.

Be aware that the dimensions of KM series are not the same as VKM series.

Here two samples: 

1. LOPPTCTL-1Z

KM921-1 and VKM921-1AGV are the old steel assembled fastener. The article LOPPTCTL-1Z is the replacement.

LOPPTCTL-1Z is in steel zinc plated. The bail, clip and spring are in steel zinc plated

The bail is foldable on both sides.

The grip is G = 1.35 – 6.35

This quarter turn is delivered with spring and clip assembled and bail packed separately

Be aware that KM918-1 and VKM918 are the old steel handles, the new bail LOPPTCTL-1Z replaces the old KM918 and VKM918

2. LOPPTCTLB-1Z

KM1040-1-1AA and VKM1040-1AGV are the old complete fasteners unassembled in steel. The article LOPPTCTLB-1Z is the replacement. LOPPTCTLB-1Z is in steel zinc plated. The bail and clip are in steel zinc plated. The spring is zinc-flake plated.

The bail is foldable on both sides.

The grip range G is 6 max

This quarter turn is delivered with spring, clip and bail not assembled.
