What is a MJ thread and what makes it so special?

MJ thread is a special form of thread that is used in the aerospace market for applications that require high stress or high temperture.  it gives the designer a "no allowance" thread.  In a nutshell you could say that the MJ thread is a modified metric version of the UNJ imperial threads as it contains a controlled root radius on external threads, also the internal diameter is truncated to accept a bolt that has this external root radius.
